Nel 1998 la rivoluzione digitale era giunta a compimento e ne era stata decretata la fine. Ventitré anni dopo, il territorio de Lo Internet veniva traversato nella sua interezza. Raggiungere la fine di Internet significa che non vi è più nulla da vedere, e non vi è più alcun collegamento da visitare. Una volta percorso ciascuno dei gangli della rete ci si trova all’esterno di questo sciame connettivo, senza potervi rientrare. Così, chi poco prima era l’essere nel mondo, poi è un viandante. E la sua, un’esclusone dalla storia, più che la fine della storia.

By 1998 the digital revolution had come to fulfillment and its end was decreed. Twenty-three years later, the territory of The Internet was traversed in its entirety.
